Who is AustinWare?
Founded by Don Austin, AustinWare, Inc. enjoys a long legacy of software solutions.
Beginning in 1969 as a senior in high school, Mr. Austin developed a pipe-flow analysis program on a Frieden Programmable Calculator for Colpitt-Middleton-Nickles of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
While continuing in college as a math major, computer science minor, he also developed software for channel flow, and detention of run-off for use in the Tulsa area by Civil Engineering firms.
Develops code for use in early CAD systems that allows intelligent contour mapping and data gathering.
1988 - Develops Client and Server applications for Florafax International. Software enabled remote florists to send and recieve orders from PC's, with full message store-and-forward functionality. Also provided automatic notification to florist of incoming activities - before email.
1990 - Begins work on FANtastic! for Acme Engineering and Manufacturing Company in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Complete responsibility for all calculations, graphics and data thru the first Window's release in 1995.
1995 - Began engaging in producing software solutions for various entities, primarily focusing on the fan and air movement industry.
